Spare a day for Nothing!

Doing nothing is one of the easiest things to do in life. You don’t need any skill, you don’t need a specialty in that, you just need to sit idle and do nothing. Doing nothing is becoming a huge problem these days among the youngsters. People don’t want to put much efforts and expect great results. This doesn’t happen on this planet. You’ve got to fight for your things and assert your will to claim success.

But sometimes lame activities like sitting idle does wonders. These days people are running behind success like a clock. They don’t want to stop and wait for the things to happen. They are impatient and always expecting for good results. Sometimes this continuous pressure on mind can result in dangerous situations. People can go into depression and their anxiety levels can shoot up if they are not able to control their pursuit.

Even in the formula 1 racing, the race drivers stop for a quick break to refuel their racing cars and to get rid of the burnt tires. Now if you apply this to your life then you will notice that you are racing in your life everyday and your energy is being drained constantly. By energy I not only means the physical energy but the mental drainage of energy that needs to be revitalized every now and then.

Also, the burnt tires are like your burnt mental scars that you get from failures, rejections and disappointments. You’ve got to replace them by confidence, courage and desire to achieve more. Our mind and body are not meant to run continuously without refreshing breaks. Therefore, spending idle time on certain days will work miracles for your soul. It will rejuvenate your inner self and will give you more reasons and courage to keep pursuing your dreams.

Taking a day off for nothing is one of the most crucial things to do which people often miss in life. Take a day off at least once a month and go to a peaceful place alone. This day should be full of loneliness and no one should be allowed to enter your mental space on this day. If you can go for a stay alone for night, its even better. On this day you must only devote your energy in analyzing yourself and your life.

You must not make the mistake of doing your pending works on this day. Don’t take a book with you and keep your mobile switched off. You just want to cut yourself from this world and your family. This time should only be given to you and only you. Just lay down in a park and think nothing. Just stroll in the gardens or woods and make no plans. Just don’t think about your work, only think about this life and its beautiful gifts. Think about the nature, think about the beautiful things on this earth that you enjoy.

Just keep your mind as empty as possible. Don’t flood it with thoughts. Just eat, sleep, do yoga and relax. This exercise will give you so much that you can’t imagine.
