Find your X Factor
‘It is a
plain simple choice that you have to make in the end. Doing something that
gives you more money or doing something that gives you lesser money but gives you
eternal gratification.’ – Darshan Singh
There are about
7.8 billion people currently living on this planet. That means there are 7.8
billion different personalities and people with different skills. These people
are all unique and dissimilar from each other. But we are wired with a societal
system that doesn’t make us believe in this. We often try to follow others and
always look to become like someone else or we look to live someone’s else life.
That is not how successful people operate.
Most successful
people know who they are and how capable they are in doing a certain thing. They
know their weaknesses and they also know how to exploit their talent. This is
something that can also be learnt. You just need to stay focused in finding
your mojo. If you fail to do so, you live an ordinary life.
You must find
yourself and your purpose of life. We all are meant for something; someone is
meant to write, and others are meant to read. Some are meant to run business;
others are meant to work for them. Everyone has uniqueness that separates us
from one another. We are all unique and wired to perform different functions in
our life. Copying someone or someone’s life is simply unnatural and against the
law of nature.
There are so many
people in this world who may not be good at most of the things but are good at
something that takes them to the heights of success. Everyone has an X factor
that separates them from others. You have an X factor too. But many people
can’t recognize that in their entire life. Some find it early and some may find
in the later stages of life. That comes naturally but there is a way to find
it.
When you do
certain chores, the one which gives you the utmost satisfaction and joy is your
X factor. If you feel tremendous vibes while singing, then you must sing and
not do anything else. You may not earn money instantly if you chose that career
path and there is no guarantee that you will earn huge bucks in future as well.
But there is assurance that you will remain happy and contended.
Finding your X
factor doesn’t mean that you are good at it. If you find that music gives you
satisfaction then it doesn’t mean that you are a perfect musician, it means
that it is your destiny and you need to work on it to make it perfect. You must
polish that art and move forward in that direction. Slowly and steadily you
will achieve what you want.
If you really
want to excel in a certain field, then you can’t give this excuse to yourself
that I liked travelling but there was no money in that field. Or I want to
become a sportsman but there is no guarantee of success in this competitive
environment. Those people are the most unfortunate ones who find their X
factors but are not able to pursue in that field.
Love and peace to
you
