‘Investing in skills will make you the richest person in life’. – Darshan Singh

Investing in right prospects is one of the key factors behind success. People who invest right are the ones who enjoy success. Investing money to gain more money is not the only type of investment in this world. Investing in skill is investment in true sense. A person is recognized from his/her skills and not the amount of money he/she has earned.

It is not a coincidence that most skillful people are the ones who earn more money and gain more success. It is their skills and persistent hard work that made them what they are today. It is the investment they put in their skills that brings out the best in them.

Everyone has same amount of learning capability and chance at opportunities. Some might have less chance than others for sure. But each one of you has an equal chance at developing your talent. You must never lose the knack of investing in skills. A person who invests in skills is never short of opportunities.

Whenever you have free time, invest in learning something. Learn soft skills, etiquette, languages, sport, art, craft, calligraphy, cooking, yoga, dancing, painting, music, writing or whatever you like. There are so many things that you can learn in this world. Learning something that you don’t know or investing in these skills will surely help you personally and professionally. I am not a professional musician, but I can play three musical instruments. I am not a professional cook, but I can make international cuisines. I am not a linguistic, but I have learned the basics of Spanish and Malay.

Investing in skill doesn’t always mean learning things related to your profession. It often means learning things related to your passion. Both profession and passion must go on concurrently. If you are not following your passion alongside your profession, you are bound to get fail or you might get bored of your success.

Being successful in profession might give you a part of your satisfaction level but following your passion fulfills the gaps in your life. It brings eternal bliss to a person when he follows his passion. So, investing in skills must be your top priority in life. Learning different skills makes you a better person holistically. It serves as a catalyst to success.

Love and power to you
