Travel, travel and travel
Travel if you are
looking for God. Travel if you want to seek tranquility. Travel if you want to see
good in others. Travel if you want to know the purpose of life. Travel if you
want to become mature. Travel if you want to become successful.
Travelling was a
trivial subject in the past in most of the Asian countries and was only
considered as an activity of the affluent. But people nowadays are travelling
more than ever. This increasing trend of travelling has made people sharper and
more aware of the international trends.
It doesn’t matter
whether you travel internationally or within your country. The thing that
matters is that you travel at regular intervals. Monthly, quarterly, half
yearly or annually. You must have a special budget for travelling as it is an
activity that will give you the greatest of satisfaction and learning. Travelling
is not that expensive as you think. If you plan well in advance, then you can travel
on a budget.
Travelling imparts
you the things that you don’t learn in your everyday life. Most of the parents
are crucial of the fact that their kids get into top colleges as soon as they
complete schooling. And then in a top job as soon as they finish college. This rush
is not going to help a student in his/her later life. These days there is a
trend of depression and anxiety among youngsters and people in high paying
jobs. Because they earn good money, but they don’t have the time to spend it.
So, when your kid
passes schooling, rather than rushing into competitive exams, you must give
your kids a chance to learn through travelling. Just give them three months, some
money and teach them to travel through the country. If I take an example of a
country like India, where the food, people, languages, culture and everything
changes after 500 Kilometres. A person can learn so many things while
travelling for three months that they can’t even learn during two years of
schooling.
Why do we simply
follow the old tradition of schooling and curriculum? In this ever-changing era,
we must be prepared with much better tools, with much healthier mental
conditioning to tackle the obstacles.
One must plan to travel
after every 6 months in order to become a better person. Travelling allows a person
to become more adjusting, tolerant and content.
