Persistence is the key
It is not about
that how much you’ve given to a thing. It is about how many times you have kept
trying despite failures. The only difference between failure and success is
persistence. Many people in their lives have succeeded in a short span of time
and others have taken years to reach their destination.
Successful people
never set deadlines for becoming famous. Fame and money are a part of that unknown
journey. It will come when it must come. You can’t control it. But you can
control the efforts that you put. In order to be successful, you can’t simply
leave your destiny in the hands of God. You’ve got to make the necessary
efforts and then expect for luck to play a part.
I am firm
believer of creating luck out of hard work. In my life I have never relied on
luck. I have carved my luck out of my hard work. Relying on luck is sign of a
weak person. I know that getting fame and money is not in anyone’s hand, but
hard work is. So, when you are persistently working on something, then you are
bound to gain success.
I would like to
give an example of a farmer here. A farmer sows the seeds and then waits for
the right time. The crops don’t harvest in a day. It takes weeks or months. In
some cases, trees start giving fruits after three or four years. Our life works
exactly like that. When you work hard, you must wait for the results. You must
never rush to the conclusion.
You must give
time to your efforts. You can’t become an overnight success. Some people argue
that singers, actors and sports persons do become overnight stars. But people
forget the sacrifices and hard work they had to go through before making the
first break.
So always
remember, working hard is your job and if you do it persistently then you are
increasing your chances of being successful.
