Living in the present is effortless to discuss but equally hard to acquire. Look around and you will see most people unhappy these days. Some people are regretting their past and some are worried about their future.

People have forgotten the art of living in the present these days. A person who lives in the present is the happiest person in the world. A person who has settled the past and have no concern about the future is the healthiest person mentally.

I fail to understand that why people are so worried about the past or the future. They are always regretting the events that happened in the past. They can’t get out of it and don’t comprehend ‘what has happened has happened’. It can’t be altered now and observing the past events is like driving a car while looking in the rear-view mirror. A big accident is bound to happen this way. If you keep this attitude, you can’t move ahead.

Others who are always concerned about the future are no better. They are the ones who try to control something that is not in their hands. Future is unpredictable and unprecedented, so it should stay that way. You never know whether you are going to wake up the next morning or not. So why worry about future. Simply understand one thing, it is not in your hands.

Worrying about the things beyond your control is the silliest attitude in life. you’ve got to understand that past is gone, and you can’t do anything about it but forget. You must always focus on the present and utilize your full energy in making your present wonderful. If you manage to make your present delightful then inevitably your future will also be great.
