Know the Unknown
There are two types
of people in society when it comes to reacting to the unknown. The first type
will ignore the unknown and wouldn’t want to know about it. Or they come to
know about the unknown from others. The second type of people will react to the
unknown in a dynamic way. They will do research about it; they will dig into
the facts and will try to gain as much information about unknown from their
research. They will not simply believe what other people will have to say about
it. They will not accept the facts of other people about the unknown. They will
do their homework and will reveal the unknown.
I want you to be
the second type. You must always be curious about life and things around us. We
are taught endless number of things by our parents and mentors throughout our
first half of the life. From our childhood, we are told to believe what they
say. There’s no harm in that, but we must also teach our kids to check the facts
before they can make arguments. Not only kids but everyone must have this habit
of thoroughly investigating about the things that comes across in one’s life every
day.
Many people have
this innate habit of spreading loose talks. That’s the reason rumors spread so
fast. This is now becoming a huge problem due to the advent of the internet. Most
people are fooled by the fake news and propaganda against a person or a thing.
The reason why people fall into this trap is that they do not do research and
simply believe on a foolish message they receive on their phones.
This has made
people with data dominant. They can simply divert public’s attention towards
what they want. The huge corporate houses are controlling people like they are
robots. Influential people and companies play with people’s mind through fake
messages and information. People fall in the trap of believing a certain thing
as true. But, if you have the habit of searching the truth, then no one can deceive
you.
This situation is
like a quicksand that most people can’t escape. But we must aware as many
people as we can. Until and unless you won’t change, the society won’t change. If
you have the power to change yourself, you have the power to change society as
well.
