Getting up early
Getting up early
is one of the best habits that a person can have. From the past many years, I
wake up early and utilize my time to the fullest. Waking up early allows you to
have more time in your day. There are many people who say that I have a hobby,
but I don’t have the time to pursue it. This is just a mere excuse.
When you get up
early, you have more time to pursue things that you otherwise don’t do. If you
go to your work at 8, then wake up at 5. This way, you will have at least one
and a half hour to yourself. You will be the king of this time. You will own this
time. No one will be able to command you in this time. You can use this time in
any way you want. When you are busy in your whole day, it’s people’s time. The
early morning time is ‘your time’.
Someone likes to
read books but don’t get time during the day, then he/she can read books in the
morning. If you like to write something, then the morning is yours. If you like
doing exercise, then you can do it in the morning. Any activity done early in
the morning will bring the best results. Morning is the best time to do any
activity as there is minimum interference and you can churn out maximum efficiency.
You will feel
that magic of getting up early in the morning. I know that it is not easy to
make such a habit if you are not used to it. This will take some time. Try
getting up at 7 for a month, then at 6 for some time and then ultimately at 5. Slowly
and steadily, you’ll get in the zone.
Have you ever
thought it this way? A person sleep for 8 hours. Works for 8 to 9 hours. Then he/she
has 6 to 7 hours of ‘me time’. If you can get up early in the morning, then you
have at least 2 hours extra than others. Using simple mathematics, you will
find that you have a day extra of your ‘me time’ after every four days. That means
at least 90-100 days extra worth of ‘me time’ in a year than a person who gets
up late in the day. Surprised? Have you ever thought this way? No? then start
thinking now.
You will be a
changed person once you start getting up early in the morning. You will feel
the difference in you. You’ll have more time in the day than an average person.
Believe me, it will change your life.
